Sylvester Samba

News & Media Contributor

Sylvester Samba is a Sierra Leonean born journalist worked for the Global Times Newspaper since its establishment in 2008 before becoming news media contributor YAME (pronounced: yuh – may).

Over the years Sylvester made meaningful contributions in the news media outlet in Sierra Leone. He holds a Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Sierra Leone, Fourah Bay College (FBC).

Working for the Global Times Newspaper, he received several media training both local and international. In 2017 attended a Seminar in Beijing, China, for Media Officials and Journalists and awarded journalism certificate by the People's Republic of China. Followed by a Training Workshop for Regional Press on Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS Quality Infrastructure and the West Africa Quality System Program, WAQSP Results in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in 2018.

Theo Edwards

Theo Edwards has over twenty years of diverse Information Technology experience. He spent his days playing with all things IBMi, portal, mobile application, and enterprise business functional and architectural design.

Before joining IBM as Staff Software Engineer, Theo worked as a programmer analyst and application specialist for businesses hosting eCommerce suite on IBMi platform. He has been privileged to co-author numerous publications such as Technical Handbooks, White paper, Tutorials, Users Guides, and FAQs. Refer to manuals here. Theo also holds a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration and various certifications in information security and technologies. He considers himself a technophile since his engagement at Cable & Wireless then later known SLET.
