The Gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in wollof, was officially launched today by the Bible Society of The Gambia.

On October 19th, 2025, the Holy Spirit Parish in Banjul hosted a special event for World Mission Sunday. The event included the official launch of the Gospel in Wollof, a major effort led by the Bible Society in The Gambia to make scripture available to more Gambians in their mother tongue.

The Bible Society in Banjul, Gambia, has recently taken significant steps to make the Bible accessible in local languages and support educational initiatives.
